Job Description
The Human Resources Manager’s principal mission is to provide expert advice on recruitment, support the Director of Human Resources and Assistant Director of Human Resources in employee relations, and partner with operations to create a rewarding culture for our associates.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Conduct all pre-screening of line/Management position applicants to include administering the Predictive Index and ability to explain position to applicant.
Create and place recruitment advertisements in appropriate news media with EOE,M/F/D/V
Completes reference checks on those applicants whom the hotel has identified as potential associates
Ensure the Drug Testing Policy is adhered to for positions that require drug testing only (refer to SOP)
Ensure completion of I-9 forms-Make sure all is correctly entered into ULTIPRO under the I-9 section
Develop Networking contacts.
Immigration Law and Corporate Policies followed-Make sure all documentation is up to date
Develop and maintain Open Employment Report-make sure it is posted weekly or as needed
Maintain job requisition and associated logs.
Ensure all P.I.F.'s have the appropriate approvals for processing
Maintain all job posting programs
Ensure monthly turnover report
Conducts exit interviews for all terminating associates and ensures final clearance and pay check distribution
Participates in planning and execution of associate events planned by the Human Resource Department
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
2-4 years experience recruiting line level associates
Management level recruiting experience preferred
Human Resources experience within a large resort strongly preferred
Human Resources management experience preferred (training, benefits...)
Hotel experience strongly preferred
Excellent computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access
Must be highly organized and detail oriented
Experience working with different agencies and recruiters preferred
Working environment is predominantly indoor office with opportunity to occasionally work both indoor and outdoor across the resort.
