If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for aProcess Engineer at our fast-paced manufacturing facility in Hot Springs, AR.

Your Role:

The Process Engineer supports Manufacturing Operations using engineering skills to identify and implement process improvements in the areas of Safety, Product Quality, and Efficiency. The individual will be responsible for developing procedures that facilitate process standardization and support future process expansion. In addition, the individual will monitor processes for effectiveness, quantify results, and present findings to management. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Work safely, in a manner that protects and promotes the health and well-being of the individual, fellow employees, and the environment.

  • Troubleshoot critical processes and equipment in our manufacturing process.

  • Lead or assist with manufacturing and R&D trials as required.

  • Initiate and engage in continuous improvement activities to ensure new equipment or processes meet the needs of the production team.

  • Develop process methods and controls including.

  • Assist Management with the creation of near, mid, and long-term improvement plans with an eye on Capital planning.

  • Determine costs and schedules for products as well as lead capital projects.

  • Plan, manage, and assist delivery of Capital Projects on time and within budget.

  • Coordinate internal and external resources to deliver services or equipment as required.

  • Assist Management with the investigation and resolution of quality issues reported within the plant and externally in the field.

  • Assist in general maintenance of plant process equipment, applying working knowledge of facilities equipment.

  • Travel in limited amount related to equipment vendors, customers, or technical forums.

We need you to have:

  • BS in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical preferred).

  • 4+ years of related process experience.

  • Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.

  • Process experience in aluminum industry, flat rolled production process experience.

  • Ability to travel occasionally.

Icing on the cake:

  • Process experience in steel, other metals industry, flat rolled product process.

  • Understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures for process engineering.

  • Experience in flat rolled products.

  • Prior experience training employees.
