Immunology Medical Affairs GI Integrated Evidence Internship

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for an Immunology Medical Affairs GI Integrated Evidence Intern located in Horsham, PA.
The internship is offered by the GI Integrated Evidence Team Lead (IETL) within the Immunology Medical Affairs division of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. The GI Integrated Evidence Team Lead is responsible for developing and maintaining a current, strategically aligned 3–5-year evidence generation plan leveraging a matrix team (Integrated Evidence Team [IET]) of cross-functional partners including but not limited to Medical Affairs, HECOR/V&E, RWE, HCQ, epidemiology, market research.
The person in this role will understand, collect, design, develop, and implement a new comprehensive evidence catalog across multiple cross-functional stakeholders to support the Immunology team across our broad portfolio of approved products for Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, initially, followed by Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, and Psoriasis. The Internship Program is focused on providing the intern with practical, hands-on experience in a fast-paced research environment, supporting our real-world evidence projects.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the US GI-Immunology Medical Affairs team under the direction of the IETL to support ongoing projects.
Work with the IETL and relevant stakeholders to identify and understand the IET needs and evaluate appropriate needs.
Work and assist in various IET activities, including but not limited to the development of the evidence catalog and strategies related to the Integrated Evidence Generation Plan (IEGP).
Participate in US Medical Affairs and IET meetings to discuss project progress and contribute ideas.
Collaborate with diverse functions within the broader US and Global Medical Affairs, Market Access, US Commercial organizations, etc.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing graduate study (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MPH) in a relevant field such as Pharmacy, Public Health, Health Services Research, Economics, Epidemiology, or Health Policy.
Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
Available to work full-time (40 hrs/week) with reliable transportation to and from the Horsham, PA campus.
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and other information technology systems
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with coding and/or programming for data import/collection
Experience utilizing scientific literature and data catalogs
Academic and/or industry experience in health research
