Job Description

Job Summary:

Eurofins SF Analytical Laboratories is searching for an Associate Microbiologist to perform microbiological release testing of pharmaceutical and personal care products. The position requires following SOPs and quality control procedures to support client needs and meet client expectations.

  • Performs microbiological testing of raw material, finished product samples and purified water
  • Perform and document all test data in accordance with cGMPs and company SOPs.
  • Perform plate reading and result calculations for samples analyzed within the laboratory.
  • Assist in method suitability testing for new product samples.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of all test methodologies performed in the lab including but not limited to USP , , , and
  • Document equipment performance data to ensure compliance with operational specifications.
  • Enter data into a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample tracking and result reporting.
  • Maintain laboratory environment (cleaning and sanitizing workspaces, consumables inventory, media inventory, etc.)
  • Plan for the assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments.
  • Contributes to a cohesive team environment.

  • Ability to learn new techniques and follow written procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and adjust workload based upon changing priorities
  • Ability to be flexible with schedule, and work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift approximately 30 lbs.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in life science, or other related degree
  • A four year degree can be supplemented with a combination of experience and an Associate's degree
  • Authorization to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.,withadditional hours, as needed.Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Horsham, PA are encouraged to apply.
