The Associate Director, Global Commercial Strategy helps shape global commercial development strategies for both inline TREMFYA ® and pipeline rheumatology assets. The primary objective of this role is to support and co-lead the global commercial strategy for TREMFYA ® in North America, EMEA, Canada, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. This role also has responsibility in early rheumatology pipeline assets with the goal of contributing commercial assessments and insights in the development discussions within clinical programs leading up to the launch of assets within the psoriatic disease space. Key responsibilities include the development and execution of disease specific market analyses, go-to-market planning/strategies, and tactics/tools to support the launch of new products.

This position reports to the Director, Global Commercial Strategy Lead for Rheumatology. The role is highly matrixed and will require close collaboration with Regional Commercial Partners, R&D, Market Research and Business Analytics, Global Medical Affairs and Global Market Access & Pricing. This position is based in Horsham, PA and will require up to 25% of travel.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Drive and Expand J&J Leadership within Injectable Monotherapy IL-23i Market, with a focus on leading worldwide patient share in Psoriatic Diseases (PsO/PsA) through acceleration of global initiatives.

  • Lead and expand Global Commercial Campaign Pull through

  • Lead regular cross-functional alignments with key global and regional partners to drive execution of key strategic imperatives on global level

  • Provide continuous Rheumatology and Dermatology Congress Support (AAD, ACR, EULAR, EADV)

  • Partner with other asset teams in executing the cross-functional (commercial, medical & market access) implementation of integrated internal/external global communication strategy for our IMM portfolio

  • Lead and support launch strategy support with cross functional partners in upcoming new indications

  • Support CDTs on selected early/late stage pipeline assets in developing commercial strategies, forecast assumptions, patient segments within our rheumatology pipeline portfolio.

  • Support identifying unique and differentiating opportunities: provide fact- and insight-based decision analyses and recommendations based on market indicators, customer market research, emerging technologies, industry dynamics analyses.

  • Drive Efficiencies and Plan for the Future: Lead business planning efforts across Dermatology and Rheumatology teams; ensure budget optimization.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree in business or life sciences is preferred.

  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is required.

  • A minimum of 5 years demonstrated in-line marketing, market access, marketing support, or sales management/training experience executing marketing strategy is required.

  • Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities, lead matrix teams, gain alignment and drive decision making is required.

  • Experience with R&D programs, global market access, and medical strategy is preferred.

  • Immunology experience is preferred

  • Ability to present complicated findings in a clear, concise, and thought-provoking manner is required.

  • Ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders and senior leadership is preferred.

  • Experience managing vendors/contractors and maintaining budgets is required.

  • Strong executive, verbal and written communication skills are required, along with demonstrated presentation skills.
