Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with customers and corporate partners overseas to ensure compliance with all United Kingdom and foreign government regulations.

  • Applying a deep understanding of Logistics to handle all routing, communication, issue management, and timeline documentation for the shipment life cycle.

  • Handling client interfacing via phone and electronic correspondence for compliance-related issues on export procedures.

  • Confirming terms of sale and carriage with clients.

  • Resolving problems for clients and partners.

  • Quoting consignments and communicating consignment status to clients directly and via Transportation Management System (TMS).

  • Checking against all known shippers and denied parties list and acquiring vital documentation.

  • Adhering closely to procedures when there are blocking issues with SLA and/or Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Following all relevant procedures, client protocols, and quality criteria in accordance with good manufacturing practices.

  • Providing crucial information promptly to clients and internal staff.

  • Crafting consignment documentation including Master air bill, House air bill, manifest, labels, pickup alerts, bill of ladings, certificates of origin, dispatch letters, flight details, and improved security forms.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in transportation/shipping roles or in a logistics ro.

  • Strong knowledge of Export and Import Regulations.

  • Outstanding communication skills for client interfacing.

  • Diligent with the ability to strictly adhere to procedures and timelines.

  • Ability to determine and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

  • Able to travel to Horsham site daily.
