This is a job for a Mainntenance technician located in Horn Lake, MS.

Job Summary: This position installs, maintains, and repairs production machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems. This position is also responsible for planning andcoordinating a schedule of preventive maintenance for equipment, machinery, tools, or buildings.

Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Inspects plant tools, fixtures and equipment for defects, misalignment, wear, insufficient lubrication. Installs and repairs conduit, splices and insulates wires and cables. Analyzes circuits and wiring diagrams to test, service, install, dismantle, repair, adjust, calibrate electronic devices and systems, electronic computing and control systems, power distribution control equipment, measuring, recording, processing and control devices, indicating devices, instruments, gauges, hydraulic, pneumatic and related mechanical instrumentation equipment.Dismantles, cleans, repairs, replaces, erects, moves, installs adjusts, maintains, assembles, and lubricates mechanical and electrical equipment.Builds or repairs jigs, fixtures, and tools. Determines the best manner of making repairs to minimize interruption of production.Adjusts all equipment for proper operating characteristics. Repairs or adjusts equipment such as motor drives, generators, control panels, relays, switchboards, circuit breakers, lighting circuits, resistors. Assembles and aligns gears, bearings, and shafts involving the application of press, sliding and running fits.Document root cause of equipment, fixturing and tooling breakdowns and actions took to rectify them (on Llumin, Llumin Work Order or available form used).

Education/Experience: Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school along with a minimum 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.Basic computer skills, which includes preventative maintenance software systems.

Requirements: Read and interpret electrical schematics.Troubleshooting and repair experience with hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical circuits.Proficiency in use and operation of wire feeders, scissor lifts, welding machines, paint guns, press brakes, band saws, pallet jacks, etc.Understands electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and engineering drawings.Basic forklift operation required.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; talk or hear. The employee frequentlyis required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequentlylife and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Duties: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a required.
