This is a job for a Inventory Supervisor position with a company located in the Horn Lake, MS area.
Role and Responsibilities: Coordinate all aspects of inventory movements and adjustments. Movements to include location to location, clear the bill, cycle count, consolidation, over issues, part outages, and scrap material. Focus on inventory discrepancies by performing root cause analysis, training employees, and implementing new processes. Serve as primary contact to the Parts Material Manager. Oversee policies/procedures and documentation of the scrap process. This includes the proper handling of scrap and inventory adjustments. Coordinate with internal supervisors to ensure inventory accuracy in all areas are met. Plan, assign and direct work of inventory employees to include cycle counting, over issues, clear the bill, and consolidation. Ensures "world class" inventory accuracy.
Position Alignment: This position will strengthen the inventory accuracy within the facility. It will assist on reducing the parts outages at the time of production and implement better ways of handling inventory. The position will work closely with our internal supervisors to reduce discrepancies in a timely manner. This position will also conduct root cause analysis to identify gaps within our daily processes. The position will give us more leadership focus within the department. That focus can minimize errors and make the company to be more efficient. The demands for this position has grown over the years. As the growth of the company grew, we have saw more and more discrepancies within the inventory. This position will have a direct focus on these areas and will address these concerns daily.
