Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Electrician. The role involves performing electrical troubleshooting on various industrial systems, including electric arc furnaces, bucket elevators, pneumatic systems, and augers. The ideal candidate must be able to read electrical schematics and perform minimal PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical troubleshooting on electric arc furnaces, bucket elevators, pneumatic systems, and augers.

• Handle motor controls including VFDs and DC controlled systems.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot issues.

• Conduct minimal PLC troubleshooting, specifically with Allen Bradley Micrologic systems.

• Install and maintain industrial electrical components and wiring.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical maintenance.

• Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics.

• Experience with motor controls, both VFD and DC controlled.

• Knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance practices.

• Basic PLC troubleshooting skills, particularly with Allen Bradley Micrologic.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Electrical journeyman's certification preferred.

• Experience in an industrial setting.

• Strong troubleshooting capabilities.

Work Environment

The position operates on a rotating DuPont schedule with 12-hour shifts (6A-6P/6P-6A). Training will occur on day shifts for up to 3 months before transitioning to the rotating schedule. Uniforms, lockers, steel-toe boots, hard hats, and safety glasses are provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HOPKINSVILLE, Kentucky.

The pay range for this position is $27.11 - $27.11
