Adecco US, Inc. Billing Accountant Clerk in Hopkinsville, Kentucky

Adecco is assisting a local client in filling a Billing Accountant Clerk position in Hopkinsville, KY. You will obtain, review, and evaluate financial reimbursement information for medical services. If you meet the qualifications below, please Apply Now!

Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm

Pay Rate $18 an hr.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interviews and obtain information from patient, patient’s family, and/or guardian concerning responsibility for patient care. Complete new admission paperwork.

  • Establish ability and authority of responsible party for payment of patient services rendered including precertification for patients with insurance. Perform follow up interviews and contacts as needed.

  • Maintain, review and evaluate patient accounts including posting charges, submitting insurance claims, and posting accounts receivable into EMR System.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma/GED

· 1 year in billing experience required

· Knowledge of relevant accounting software

· Proficiency in eMARS & MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) required.

· Must have the ability to climb stairs throughout shift

· Ability to build and maintain strong customer and client relationships and networks.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
