Description:

Client is looking for an individual to operate and assist in their roll forming production department. They will be operating various machines to produce metal shingles and siding for residential buildings. These machines are similar to punch presses, brake presses and perforating machines. Essential job functions below:

• Adjusts machine to material and finished product requirements.

• Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.

• Assures product quality by adjusting machine

• Responsible for packers to package, label, stack and transport finished workpieces in a timely manner.

• Operates hoist to place coils of metal on and off an unwinder.

• Completes production records on finished goods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1+ year machine operation experience

Mechanically inclined

Hand and Power tool experience

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide inches and pounds, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to read and understand tape measurers and calculators.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in.

Must have the ability to be able to measure parts as part of quality checks.
