Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in Chatsworth, CA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• The Manufacturing Operator role will perform production operations activities of semiconductor wafer and display products (e.g., silicon wafers, devices, integrated circuits/boards) associated with photolithography, thin films deposition, and other semiconductor type processes.
• This role will monitor and evaluate the production process and end results by setting up, running, and qualifying manufacturing equipment.
  * Ensure tools remain running, loaded, and qualified to run product.
  * Understand your operation and meet expected throughput and cycle time targets.
  * Achieve technical knowhow in maintaining or operating tools and maintain certifications.
  * Perform 5S Audits in assigned work area.
  * Follow proper handling of product as per work instruction.
  * Perform inspection of product to meet quality standards.
  * Perform tooling changes when needed.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $20/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week Monday through Friday. 2nd shift - 2:45 PM - 11:00 PM.
Occasional OT, if needed - at manager's request.

Length: Temp (6 Months).

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in packaging, cleanroom environment, or semiconductor industry

• Experience operating a zapping tool
• Working on a computer that goes to the tool (joystick, automated microscope, etc.)
• Computer literate - basic to intermediate skills.
• Ability to follow documented standards and identify and/or report any tool performance or process deviations.
• Ability to work independently without supervision after certification.
  Ability to use MES to record WIP/Tool Status.
  * React flexibly to changing work priorities and demands.
  * Ability to follow all safety, security, and cleanroom procedures always.
  * Demonstrate initiative and curiosity by looking for better ways to do things within scope of control and
  participate actively in continuous improvement activities.
