We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Construction Engineer to join our construction team. This role requires flexibility, with the option to be based at our home office in Hoofddorp or at one of our EU site locations, depending on project requirements.

As a Senior Construction Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our projects, supporting key stakeholders, and ensuring that our construction efforts align with our ambitious goals.

Scope of activities:

• Providing technical interpretation of design documents in support of construction managers, superintendents, and contractors and provides specific expertise for problem solving activities

• Oversee and coordinate construction activities, ensuring system readiness for client turnover or startup, and create punch lists to track progress

• Liaise with design engineers to ensure timely release of construction documents in line with project schedules

• Provide marked-up drawings and information required for the preparation of as-built drawing

• Interpret the intent and requirements of the design documents; ensure design drawings are reviewed for completeness and constructability; and ensure drawings are marked-up and information provided as required for the preparation of as-built drawings

• Review and interpret design documents to ensure completeness and constructability, while collaborating during the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase to implement constructability strategies.
