Description

Robert Half is partnering with a growing company in search of a Senior Accountant to join the team in a newly created role! This role involves a deep understanding of US GAAP and expertise in accounting processes. The successful candidate will be a part of our finance team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our accounting information. Responsibilities:

• Prepare, record, and analyze asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and coordinating various account information

• Ensure timely and precise financial statements in accordance with US GAAP

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities

• Assist in the preparation of schedules for both internal and external audits

• Conduct reconciliation and analysis for accounts, including bank statements and inter-company general ledger accounts

• Regularly utilize Sage Intacct and other relevant software for various accounting tasks

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Use skills such as Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and GAAP Accounting

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of accounting

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential

• Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is a must

• Expertise in maintaining and managing General Ledger is necessary

• Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries is required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must

• Experience with Month End Close procedures is required

• Proficiency in Sage Intacct software is a plus

• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP Accounting principles is required

• The candidate must have the ability to work independently and in a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary

• The candidate must possess a strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills

• The ability to multitask and manage time efficiently is required.
