Job Description:A locally owned company in Hawaii for over 50 years, with locations across multiple islands, is seeking someone who is organized and detailed-oriented to join as Revenue Supervisor. You'll manage financial accounting and reporting per GAAP, oversee the maintenance and closing of financial records, manage staff and processes, support audits, and ensure accuracy and compliance in financial transactions and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial accounting and reporting in accordance with GAAP, maintaining and closing financial records within deadlines.
- Oversee accounting staff, outsourcers, and processes, including accounts receivables, billbacks, revenue management, and store audits.
- Communicate with the Revenue Manager to identify and resolve issues; support annual audits and reviews.
- Review, research, and resolve credit card inquiries; assist with processing credit card payments.
- Assess and improve policies, procedures, and internal controls, ensure accurate data entry, and prepare financial reports and summaries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business or related field
- 2 years of relevant professional experience in accounts receivable or accounting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly excel; Great Plains a plus
