Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our senior clients. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Description of the Role: In this role, your primary responsibility will be to deliver daily care and assistance to our senior clients in the comfort of their own homes. This includes helping with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders. You will also be monitoring their health closely and promptly reporting any changes or concerns. Maintaining the safety and well-being of our clients is of utmost importance. Accurate documentation of all services provided is essential, as well as maintaining regular communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals. Collaboration with other caregivers and team members will ensure the highest level of care for our clients. Responsibilities: * Exemplify our core values of compassion, honesty, and reliability consistently. * Deliver daily care and assistance to our senior clients in the comfort of their own homes. * Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders. * Monitor clients' health and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties. * Maintain and enhance clients' safety and well-being. * Accurately document all services provided. * Maintain regular communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals. * Participate in training and educational sessions to continuously improve your skills and knowledge. * Collaborate with other caregivers and team members to ensure the highest level of care for our clients. Requirements: * Hold a valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (NA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). * Prior experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting is preferred. * Demonstrate effective and compassionate communication skills with clients and their families. * Possess strong organizational and time-management abilities. * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. * Physical ability to perform all required tasks, including the lifting and transferring of clients. Compensation & Benefits: This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $20 to $22, commensurate with experience.
