Deloitte Meeting and Events Coordinator in Honolulu, Hawaii

Work you'll do

  • Supports the development of the end-to-end engagement strategy, provide assistance in the execution of all events, and will assist in the development of lessons learned summaries after each event

  • Assists in engaging with internal and external stakeholders to develop event logistics, topic input, and event documentation in planning of conferences, meetings, working groups, symposiums, and other types of events

  • Supports the coordination across venues, event stakeholders, key personnel, security, and mission partners for successful execution of planned activities

In Customer Strategy & Applied Design we elevate the Human Experience. We help clients and account teams design innovative services and human experiences. A few examples of how we achieve this is by conducting ethnographic research, service blueprinting, and surveying customer segmentations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance required

  • 3 years' experience planning and executing large meetings

  • Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills

  • Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills

  • Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills

  • Work is performed in Honolulu, Hawaii

Preferred:

  • Experience in event planning and execution, event strategy, and meeting coordination

  • Experience in event management with other government agencies, preferably with interagency and international mission partners

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,875 to $163,125.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
