Job Overview

Kelly Services is hiring for our client in Honolulu! We are currently seeking a responsible, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join their Accounting department as an Accounting Clerk. This is a full-time hourly position with excellent benefits (waiting period may apply), and the individual will be based at the corporate office in Honolulu, Oahu.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department

• Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records

• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner

• Data entry of financial transactions into the general ledger

• Research issues and discrepancies

• Follow established standards, procedures, and applicable laws

• Prepare reports and summaries of financial data

• Ensure completeness and accuracy of data

Skills/Abilities

• Proven accounting experience, preferably as an accounting clerk

• Familiarity with basic accounting procedures

• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Data entry and word processing skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under time constraints with minimal supervision

  Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a plus

• Minimum of 2 years of business/accounting experience required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with a focus on Excel

• 10-key by touch required

  Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to sit

• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear

• Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally carry up to 25 pounds
