_About the Role_
The Prime Brokerage Strategist Team is part of the Institutional Equities Division. The team works with Core Prime Brokerage, Delta One Swap Desk and Stock Loan Desk covering the Asia region and the role is responsible for:
- Development of reporting/analytics for risk and pricing
- Analysis of inventory efficiency
- Analytics/ad-hoc development in support of new products
- Development of work flow/alerting tools for Sales/Trading Support and enhancement of strategist developed trader tools
- Collaborating with other divisions within the organization (IT, Operations, Controllers) to improve desk work flow/efficiency/risk controls
- Development of quick time-to-market technical enhancements to trading flows to meet near term trader, client, risk, or regulatory requirements
_Qualifications, Skills & Requirements_
Requirements of the role:
- 1-5 years related experience in trading/strats/quants/actuarial science/IT
- Education background in Financial Engineering/Mathematics/Physics/Economics/Computer Science
- With strong analytical skill and IT related skillset
Desirable Technical Skills **
- Statistical/data analysis
- Kdb /q a big positive
- Javascript web development
- At least one object-oriented programming language (Java, C#, C )
- Database programming (SQL, Sybase/DB2) a plus
