Hyatt Event Sales Manager in HONG KONG, China
Description:
The Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong is seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Sales Manager to join our team. The Event Sales Manager will be responsible for driving event sales and ensuring the successful execution of events in our restaurant venues. In addition to external business, the candidate will also be given the ownership to host creative and bespoke events that represent the Hyatt Centric brand. This position requires a strong sales acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
Recognize opportunities to maximize revenue by up-selling and offering enhancement to create outstanding events
Ensure seamless events by communicating well with guests and other departments to meet guests’ needs
Identify potential business for event planning and services; preferably engaged with hotel
Provide an excellent and consistent level of service to guests
Meet sales goals and target set by the hotel
Qualifications:
A minimum of Higher Diploma in education level of related discipline
Minimum 4 years related working experience, preferrably in hotel industry
Self-motivated, willing to learn and able to work under pressure
Good communication and negotiation skills with both internal and external guests
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Fluent spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua with good writing skills
