Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for our Machinery Manufacturing industry located in HOMEWOOD, Illinois. This role will involve processing supplier invoices, managing purchase order variances, and communicating with suppliers regarding invoices, statements, and payments. This role also requires assisting with the automated document management system and involvement in special projects as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Enter supplier invoices into the ERP system

• Research and resolve purchase order variances

• Communicate with suppliers concerning invoices, statements, and payments

• Assist when required with the automated document management system

• Handle special projects as needed

• Utilize data entry skills to process a large volume of invoices

• Use Epicor software for various tasks

• Exhibit strong attention to detail in all tasks

• Maintain business casual-business professional dress code, with allowance for jeans on Fridays

• Prepare to start as soon as possible upon completion of resume review and on-site interview. Requirements • Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent

• Prior experience in the machinery manufacturing industry preferred

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk is required

• Proficiency in data entry and management

• Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles

• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel

• Knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, is advantageous

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to handle confidential information

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
