Confidential Employer Part Time Employee/Floater in Homer City, Pennsylvania
The Indiana County Solid Waste Authority is accepting applications for a part-time employee/floater who will work in various positions at the recycling center as needed. Duties may include:
- Assisting the driver on daily route by picking up curbside bins and sorting acceptable material.
- Processing recyclable material including densifying metal containers, preparing materials to be baled and baling materials.
- Operating equipment such as forklifts, front-end loaders and lawn mowers.
- Driving truck on recycling routes - CDL is not required.
Essential Functions:
- Able to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs. and push weights over 50 lbs.
- Ability to understand written and verbal directions and communications.
- Ability to work outdoors during weather extremes.
- Clean driving record.
