Educator Support Program Clinician River Valley Counseling Center ? Hampden & Hampshire Counties Area Holyoke, MA ProfessionalFull Time, 40, day shift, 8 Req # 8980 RVCC is looking to hire a Clinician for our Educator Support Program RVCC who is passionate about positively impacting our schools and children by specializing in providing outpatient therapy to school staff. The School-Based Program at RVCC partners with 67 schools throughout 11 Districts in Hampden and Hampshire Counties to provide therapy to children and adolescents. This winter, RVCC will launch an Educator Support Program as an additional service that focuses on supporting the educators. We understand that establishing healthy and successful learning environments for our children must include attending to the emotional needs of the adults. Overview Job Responsibilities: 1. Support ESP enrolled clients in: Processing and navigating the challenges of being an educator Developing coping strategies for job-related stressors Establishing work-life balance Implementing self-care skills to strengthen resilience Effectively attending to personal life stressors to reduce impact on career success and burnout Addressing mental health problems that are impacting daily functioning 2. Conduct clinical assessments, diagnose mental health disorders, and develop personalized treatment plans for clients 3. Document all clinical work accurately and maintain client records according to established RVCC and regulatory standards and procedures Job Requirements: Education Level - Master\'s degree with a concentration in counseling, clinical psychology, or social work. Years of Experience - Three years\' experience as a therapist or in a counseling role. Must have previous experience working in a school-based setting. Skills/Abilities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills; crisis intervention skills; organizational skills; attention to detail; computer skills; good customer relations skills; knowledge of legal and ethical issues pertaining to the profession Licensing - LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, PsyD or PhD required. Hiring Bonus: Up to \$4,000 for Independently Licensed Clinicians (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, Lic.
