Part-Time Clinician On-siteRecovery & HousingPart time Holyoke, Massachusetts, United States We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Clinician to join our GRIT team, a residential program providing structured, person-centered counseling and recovery-oriented services. This role focuses on supporting LGBTQ+ individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The Clinician will work collaboratively with our skilled multidisciplinary team to help residents build the framework for long-term recovery and develop aftercare plans for a successful transition back into the community. Key Responsibilities Conduct individual therapy sessions with residents to address co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges. Facilitate one clinical group per week, fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. Participate in weekly team meetings on Tuesdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and attend the GRIT Yale Clinical Team Meeting on the last Tuesday of each month from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Collaborate with the GRIT treatment team, which includes licensed clinicians, case managers, prescribers, and recovery staff, to create individualized recovery plans. Support residents in their journey toward recovery, helping them build resilience, perseverance, and confidence. Provide input on aftercare planning to ensure successful community reintegration. Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with program guidelines. Position Details Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Required availability: One late evening and one weekend day. Team Meetings: Tuesdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with an additional meeting on the last Tuesday of the month from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The role involves working directly with residents who participate in various structured activities, including education, job training, community volunteering, or employment. Requirements Experience working with LGBTQ+ populations and individuals with co-occurring disorders is highly preferred. Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and recovery-oriented treatment approaches. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Valid Driver\'s license, sufficient automobile insurance, acceptable driving record, and a safe reliable vehicle during working hours.
