Responsibilities / Description MASTER- Ability to communicate with senior level customers (internal/ external) about how the framework benefits product design and differentiates IFF from competition. Looks at the overall business picture to ensure this framework is connecting efficiency, profitability, & protection to the value proposition. (FRAGRANCE DESIGN (HSD), CONSUMER CENTRICITY, TECHNICAL LEARNING). EXPERT- Effective at implementing a creative vision on strategic and Go-To-Market initiatives that are Must Win/ Mission Critical with agility, using product development skills such as experimental design, defining hypotheses, etc. Communicates with strong rationale for the direction taken in the creation design. Successful at training SDM foundational levels on the framework, acting as a Coach/Mentor/Example in this area. (PRODUCT PERFUMERY CULTURE, COACHING AND MENTORING). INTERMEDIATE- Begins to be knowledgeable in a particular brand's market / product offering footprint. Can draw conclusions from market trends and build into learning hypotheses for product design and/or consumer understanding. Begins to map out market products into category benefit spaces. Defines what the key insights are. (LEADERSHIP). Requirements Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, chemistry, or business Preferred Masters in Fragrance and/or Business Very good olfactive expertise (candidates required to complete internal smelling test). Minimum 7-10 years of Fragrance Industry and evaluation experience Internal promotion from Senior Scent Design Manager.
