Job Title: X-ray TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-ray Technician to perform diagnostic medical x-rays and laboratory testing procedures in various disciplines including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry. The ideal candidate will also be proficient in phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. This position offers a permanent role from day one, with benefits, a supportive team culture, and opportunities for cross-training in lab roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic medical x-rays following proper x-ray techniques as outlined in the manual.

• Conduct laboratory testing procedures in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry.

• Perform phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.

Essential Skills

• Associates degree

• Graduation from a Radiology program (RT or BMO)

• CPR certification

• Phlebotomy experience

• Florida Department of Health License (RT or BMO)

• Florida Department of Health Certified Radiologic Technologist License

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification

• Florida Department of Health Basic Machine Operators License for X-Ray

• 1 year of experience with X-ray in a healthcare setting

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of diagnostic medical x-ray procedures and techniques

• Ability to perform a variety of laboratory testing procedures

• Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques

• Good communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite in the lab. The work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 12:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Saturday from 12:30 PM to 8:00 PM, and Sunday from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $51979.20 - $62275.20
