Polar Tank Trailer LLC Design Engineer in Holdingford, Minnesota
Description ONLY US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR POSITION Position Summary: Performs intermediate design work by producing B.O.M's (Bill of Materials) and drawings for non-standard trailer orders. This position requires close supervision from the Design Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible to complete design, layout and drafting of Production Orders for certain particular groups of basic semi tank trailers and assemblies. Complete the structure of B.O.M's (Bill of Materials) so that all parts and assemblies are located in the right manufacturing areas. Has some knowledge of ASME and DOT codes and understands that these codes govern construction and that variations of design must be reviewed by an Engineer. Requirements: Considerable knowledge of design/layout drafting and MRP (Material Requirement Planning) concept. Two years vocational drafting (or equivalent experience with CAD experience (6 month minimum experience). Is a proficient AUTODESK Inventor software operator.
