Job Title: Mold Maker / Blown Core (2nd shift)

• 2nd shift hours are Monday-Friday 2PM-10:30PM.

• Benefits available on Day 1.

Job Summary:

The Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) in Hodges, SC has an opening as a Mold Maker on 2nd shift. In this role, you will perform a variety of functions: Machine setup, problem-solving skills, computer skills, molding assets, assembly, basic mechanical skills, setting cores, closing molds, making cores or operation of shakeout equipment, maintaining a clean workspace, and collaborating with team members. Candidates will also be required lock out equipment to clean and perform setups.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Machine setup

• Basic mechanical skills

• Computer skills

• Mold making

• Assembly

• Core setting

• Mold closing

• Shakeout operation

• Core-make

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 3 months of manufacturing experience

Top Candidates will also have:

• At least 6 months of manufacturing experience

• Previous foundry experience

• Computer skills

• Basic mechanical skills

• Problem solving and decision-making

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work with others in a team environment

• Ability to learn all aspects of job assignments
