Position: Software Engineer IIILocation: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030Duties: Collaborate with small groups of two to three engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects. Provide guidance through relevant documents, directions, examples, and timelines to ensure project success. Support the business by addressing user questions, concerns, and issues, including technical feasibility and implementation strategies. Conduct research to identify effective solutions, determine implementation designs, and offer guidance on the implications of new systems. Direct users to appropriate contacts for issues outside the associate's domain. Work on small to large-sized complex projects, reviewing requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and researching alternative approaches. Determine the most suitable solution based on return on investment and value to the business. Conduct unit testing, communicate project status and issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery. Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering relevant information, performing root cause analysis, and engaging support teams for issue resolution. Develop solutions, drive action plans, and ensure effective documentation of issue resolution. Participate in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects, contributing to high-level design discussions with product management, project management, business, and user experience teams. Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field. Position does not require specific years of experience but requires listed skills.Skills Required: Experience developing software applications using SpringBoot. Experience developing REST APIs using Java and SpringBoot. Experience using Intellij Idea IDE and Visual Studio IDE tools for programming and code development. Experience using JIRA for issue tracking, documentation, and error resolution. Experience deploying and maintaining CI/CD for applications using Jenkins. Experience coding in Java object-oriented programming language. Experience using Docker based containerized deployments of applications.
