Job Description
Job Title: Strategic Customer Executive
Location: HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM
About the role:
Vaccine Business Unit (VBU) at Takeda Vietnam carry the mission of protecting Vietnamese people against dengue fever, a disease which remains a high burden to healthcare system globally as well as in the country.
In May 2024, TAK-003 (Takeda’s dengue vaccine) was granted marketing authorization by Vietnam local health authority. Vietnam VBU is now at the most exciting stage of preparing the market and bringing TAK-003 to Vietnamese people within the year 2024.
Strategic Customer Management plays a crucial role in building and developing the strong relationship with key clients. The main responsibility is overseeing strategic accounts in order to nurture successful collaboration between the organization and its customers in product deployment and strategic direction implementation.
How you will contribute:
Communication Bridge
- Be the key contact point who organizes two-way communication between the company and clients in order to information sharing and tight cooperation in products deloyment to the market. This includes product knowledge and information training, product availability management, marketing plans, etc.
Co-Promotion Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to develop and execute marketing activities aimed at boosting awareness and increasing consumption at the vaccine center, based on an understanding of consumer and customer needs.
Market/ Business Intelligent Report
- Analyze gathered information from the market circumstance, consumers behaviors, stakeholder promotions activities, and the dynamicity of local vaccine centers to keep the corporation informed and assist in business strategy development.
Account management
Build and implement account plans for targeted clinic/institutions.
Support Strategic Customers Managers for the organization of intercenter activities.
Support Strategic Customers Managers to develop the strategic & action plan for the entire managing region (North, Central, South).
Monitor the output situation and proactively build actions plan to achieve business performance of territory/account. Additionally, propose adjustments target in the implementation area based on the actual circumstances.
Training Organization
- Determine customers’ training needs, Work with internal department and clients to organize meetings on disease awareness, epidemiology, disease burden, product information, and post-injection reactions for customer
Customer service
- Frequently record feedback on product quality, output situation, effectiveness of marketing activities,
What you bring to Takeda:
Education and Experience Requirements
Mandatory to hold a university degree in medicine or pharmacy.
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and service within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. Experience as a Key Account Management in the Vaccine category is preferred.
Moderate knowledge of building marketing strategies and activities.
Deep understanding of local healthcare system & regulation.

Communication: Ability to discuss and engage proactively with external and internal stakeholders, excellent communication, engotiation and presentation skills.
Relationship building: Drive a robust connection with peer and stakeholders to maintain meaningful professional relationships, fostering the network leading to opportunities and mutual growth.
Project management: Organizes working efforts by prioritizing tasks, using resources optimally, establishing appropriate deadlines and ensuring on-time delivery. Ability to manage conflicts and deal effectively with complex issues and diversity of people.
Internal and External Contacts
- Closely coordinate with Medical team, Marketing team (HCP, HCC, BI, Omnichannel), Supply-Demand team from both sides to prepare training materials, Marketing plan, delivery plan, etc.
Other Job Requirements
Willing to travel within Vietnam and abroad.
Excellent command of English.
