MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

Individual contributor that works under limited supervision.

Applies subject matter knowledge.

Requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.

Responsible for the efficient transportation and distribution of raw materials and finished products to customers, retailers and to other facilities within the organisation.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

•Responsible for delivering goods to and from designated locations on time.

•May also load and unload truck.

•Prepares receipts, verifies orders, and may collect payment for deliveries.

•May also inspect and repair vehicle.

•Activities include acting in compliance with the most efficient transportation procedures according to cost, timing, and handling frame-work.

•Complying with product delivery schedules.

•Recording and following-up shipments.

•Loading, unloading and transporting products.

•Maintaining the vehicle and equipment fleet.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

High School Diploma / GED
