Who we are we looking for

We seek an experienced Marketing Operations professional who is an effective communicator, organized, efficient, and solution oriented. You should be an expert in influencing cross-functional team collaboration, navigating ambiguity and change, balancing multiple workstreams, and tracking results.

You have an athlete mindset with a team-first servant leadership approach to galvanize various stakeholders across different levels and teams. You will drive strategic, planning, and executional processes for highly visible and priority projects aligned to key business objectives.

You must thrive under pressure and be positively engaged at all times as an enterprise-thinker that also obsesses details and the last mile to achieve success. Your experiences will be multifaceted with a robust marketing and digital acumen and passion for planning, project management, and operations.

What will you work on

  • Champion the EMEA Jordan Brand Marketing (Brand + CDM) team and project portfolio as the dedicated marketing operations partner.

  • Drive portfolio management and optimization, mostly downstream of the Nike OneMarketing EMEA process (post-Seasonal Strategic Framework milestone) inclusive of scope, schedule, project budgets for targeted results.

  • Ensure Brand and CDM teams are focused on the most impactful work to achieve EMEA Jordan Brand Marketing vision.

  • Support team with workback schedule set-up for all projects within portfolio and provides high-level guidance. Project team is responsible for progress and outcomes.

  • Maintain oversight into workstream statuses and risks.

  • Enable vital connections with Global, Geo, and City counterparts ensuring all relevant seasonal and project related information is distributed and communicated on a day-to-day basis.

  • Provide guidance and advice for critical checkpoints with key stakeholders including JDDC, Marketplace Partners, etc.

  • Coordinate and integrate timelines with Function partners, e.g. Creative, Media, CDM, etc.

  • Partners with Project Lead to conduct regular project related meeting(s).

  • Drive seasonal process adherence, governance, and innovation.

  • Play a key role within our seasonal critical path process from approximately week -39 (of a 130-week process) through to go live, publishing, and hind sighting. Primary milestones include Project Framework and Project Readiness.

  • Partner closely with Brand Planning & Strategy, Brand Management, and Studio Management and Production, and other functional partners ensuring all processes are executed flawlessly.

  • Build relationships across the brand marketing and business matrix and will contribute towards project management strategy to continuously improve ways of working.

  • Account for sub-functional seasonal marketing initiatives within the Marketing Planner and appropriate resourcing.

  • Apply Project Management best practices and drive continuous functional process improvement, ensuring connection to and representation within our OneMarketing EMEA process.

  • Participate and evangelize automation and digitization efforts through tools and technology, including AirTable, Slack, and Box.

Who you will work with

You will report directly to the Senior Manager, Jordan Operations, with a dotted line to the Senior Director, Jordan Brand Marketing EMEA, as their key operational partner.

You will have another dotted line to the Director, Marketing Operations, Project Management EMEA, as an extended member of their team for functional coaching, guidance, and accountability.

You will also work and interact with a broad spectrum of stakeholders and peers at a Global, Geo, and City level across different marketing teams, dimensions, and business partners including, but not limited to Brand Planning & Strategy, Merchandising, Brand Marketing, Consumer Direct Marketing, and Studio Management and Production.

  • Extensive experience in fields directly related to project management (includes projects within brand management, digital marketing, integrated media, retail marketing, partner marketing or brand creative).

  • Ability to communicate with clarity to all levels of the organization, from influencing and thought-leading in meetings, to delivering sharp story-telling presentations.

  • Strong drive for operational excellence and continuous improvement through process enhancement and innovation.

  • Experience working with project management software tools, ideally AirTable.

  • Skill to execute Keynote presentations self-sufficiently.

  • Documented success and experience delivering multi-dimensional marketing projects.

  • Effective problem-solving acumen; cool under pressure, flexible, resilient, empathetic and assertive.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Able to manage multiple projects and initiatives while driving accountability on day-to-day operations.

  • Results-oriented, structured, and analytical skills.

  • Embrace change and accept it is needed, despite the uncertainty it brings.

  • Familiarity with industry standard Project Management methodologies such as Prince, PME, and PMP.

  • Previous exposure to sport and/or lifestyle environment.
