Robert Half Front Desk Sales Assistant in Hilton Head, South Carolina

Description

We are looking for a Sales Assistant based in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The role involves providing support to our sales team, promoting our fitness programs, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for our clients. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and members, answering their inquiries and providing information about our fitness programs and services

• Promote and sell fitness memberships, packages, and products to potential and existing clients

• Perform administrative duties such as managing bookings, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records

• Ensure the reception and lounge area is clean, tidy, and well-organized at all times

• Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide a high-energy, passionate, and positive work environment

• Provide information on current sales promotions and incentives

• Represent the brand positively at all times

• Assist with events, workshops, and other promotional activities

• Utilize Google, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office Suites in daily tasks

• Handle cash activity and closing processes efficiently

• Address customer complaints and inquiries in a professional manner

• Perform receptionist duties and other basic office tasks, including electronic file management and email marketing.

Requirements

• Knowledge of receptionist duties and administrative office procedures

• Proven track record in sales, preferably in the retail sector

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word for daily communication and document creation

• Experience in cash activity management and closing processes

• Proven ability in handling customer complaints effectively and professionally

• Experience in answering inbound calls in a professional and courteous manner

• Ability to assist visitors and guests, providing high-quality customer service

• Basic office skills such as filing, scheduling, and organization

• Knowledge of electronic file systems for efficient document management

• Experience in email marketing to support sales promotions

• Ability to perform all tasks with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
