Mechanical Assembler - Hillside, IL

Job Description

Responsible for the sub-assembly and final assembly of various products, utilizing hand and power tools. You will also use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to aid in quality control and ensure the accuracy of smaller parts. Interpretation and utilization of blueprints are essential to the role.

Hard Skills

• Mechanical assembly

• Basic blueprints reading

• Usage of hand and power tools

• Experience with micrometers, calipers, gauges

Work Environment

First shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM . The pay rate begins at $18/hr+ depending on experience. You will work in a clean shop environment where each assembler has their own workbench. All necessary tools are provided. The environment might be loud at times.
