JOB REQUIREMENTS: Maintenance Technician - R-31989 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance Technician The Maintenance Technician is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant processing, facility, and support equipment. Location: Hillsboro, WI Hours: Monday - Friday, 9pm - 5am Wage: \$32.47/hr plus shift differential Applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check. Equal Opportunity Employer-minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Required Qualifications & Experiences: * 18 years or older * Basic computer skills * Communicates work order progress to supervisor and production operators * Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills * Ensures a safe working environment for self and others while performing assigned tasks * Able to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively work with a variety of people and departments Preferred Qualifications & Experiences: * 1+ years\' experience with basic electrical systems, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyers, hydraulics, packaging, PLC, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and pumps. * Prior industrial maintenance experience, knowledge and/or education * Forklift experience preferred or willing to be trained for certification * Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule * Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision * Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) * Possess mechanical aptitude. Some experience with mechanical systems, utilizing product manuals, troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, and reading mechanical drawings.
