Robert Half is partnering with a public sector in need of a Legal Assistant in Hillsboro, Oregon. The Legal Assistant will largely be engaged in the litigation and public sector, providing essential support to our legal team. Our workplace is a fast-paced environment, requiring an individual who is detail-oriented and can manage high volumes of work and meet strict deadlines.

Location: Hillsboro, OR (onsite)

Pay Rate: $25-$32 per hour

Duration: 4+month contract, with potential for extension

Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

• Manage cases, including the handling of police reports and medical records requests

• Oregon e-filing and preparation of legal documents

• Draft legal documents from templates

• Manage the timelines and tracking of all necessary appointments and deadlines

• Maintain client relations and open lines of communication

• Handle claim administration tasks and perform billing functions efficiently

  Requirements

• 2+ YOE in legal roles supporting attorneys

• OR e-filing and familiarity with OR court systems

• Experience with Legal Document management and Discovery

The salary range for this position is $25-32/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
