(Nasdaq: QRVO) is a global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance radio frequency components and compound semiconductor technologies. Qorvo is recognized for its diverse portfolio of semiconductor technologies and RF systems. Our products are utilized in a diverse RF market that include the world\'s leading suppliers of mobile phones, cellular infrastructure, commercial radios, Aerospace and Defense, and other communications equipment. Qorvo is looking for a Director of Manufacturing to lead our Hillsboro Operations team. The manufacturing shift manager directs and coordinates multiple operations required for production in clean-room manufacturing environments. Specific areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to, fabrication, assembly line maintenance, equipment engineering, process engineering and chemical treatment activities. Establishes production schedules based on product requirements and material supply. Manages budgets for equipment expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, manage and lead a highly effective and collaborative team Motivate and coach the team to operational success Demonstrate leadership promoting lean practices and continual improvement Deliver operational moves, cycle time and outs to meet commitments Prevent and reduce wafer scrap Support process and equipment development activities Participate in cross functional and Lean activity teams QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience 5 years\' experience as a manufacturing supervisor required Ability to deal with multiple issues and shifting priorities Strong communication and presentation skills Good foundational problem-solving skills with creative solutions and out of the box thinking Self-motivated; able to take initiative and effectively prioritize work for self This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.
