Charlie Gilmur with Robert Half is welcoming an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team situated in HILLSBORO, Oregon. The role involves overseeing the outflow of capital for the company in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor relations, processing invoices, and contributing to the efficiency of the accounts payable function.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of accounts payable invoices using our accounting and project management software.

• Handle the vendor onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation is available and up-to-date.

• Input and categorize invoices into our accounting system with accuracy and efficiency.

• Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies or issues promptly.

• Engage with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.

• Assist in the month-end closing processes.

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable function.

• Perform other duties as assigned related to the Accounts Payable Specialist role.

• Ensure accurate processing of customer credit applications.

• Maintain precise customer credit records.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Experience in account reconciliation

• Familiarity with check runs

• Knowledge of coding invoices for various departments

• Proficiency in data entry, particularly in financial databases

• Experience in invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Skill in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Familiarity with Oracle for managing financial data

• Experience with QuickBooks for managing accounts payable

• Knowledge of SAP for financial management and operations.
