Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc WIC Director in Hillsboro, Ohio
Highland County Community Action Organization Inc. has full time, 40 hour a week WIC Director position available in our Family Health Services Department. This is a highly responsible position and will report to the Director of Family Health Services Department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, certifying eligible participants for WIC including developing individual care plans, charting, nutrition assessments, teaching nutrition/breastfeeding classes, and home visiting. This position will collaborate with ODH on grant applications as well as implementing policies and procedures. This position will report to Highland County Community Action Organization Greenfield and Hillsboro locations.
Must have a registered Nurses license/or is a licensed Dietician in the State of Ohio. Experience in the area of Maternal and Child Health and/or Women's Health would be a plus. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, professional and courteous, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer experience is necessary. Applicants must be able to work well with people of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Applicant must have a valid Ohio Driver's License and be insurable under the agency fleet insurance policy and must be able to bend, stoop, and lift over 40 pounds.
