Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Configuration Manager to join one of their top federal clients on a large defensive weaponry program. This individual will be joining the Information Services team and will be supporting the Mission of Strategic Deterrence through continuous improvements and innovation. Some of your responsibilities would include:

- Assisting with configuration management of IT Cloud and OnPrem environments

- Working alongside of the Asset Management team as it relates to hardware and software IT management

- Assisting with responsibilities in the change management process

- Review and capture project task status updates

- Working with team members to ensure correct documentation policy and procedures

- Assist with software license management

- Ensure proper software version installation

- Other duties assigned relating to project management and change management

Skills and Requirements

- 7+ years experience in IT

• 3-5 years experience with Configuration Management, Change Management and/or Queue Management

- Experience with successfully developing standards, process improvement, and managing processes

- Previous DoD background, understanding and familiarity with DoD operations

- General understanding of computer networks, hardware, databases, applications, security components, computer operations, and operating systems

- Project management experience

- Bachelors degree in technical or business discipline

- Secret Clearance with ability to get TS and SAP eligibility - Masters Degree in a technical or business discipline

- Active Top Secret Clearance

- PMP Certification null
