Lockheed Martin Price Cost Analyst - Early Career in Highlands Ranch, Colorado

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Price Cost Analyst. In this role, you will:

- Perform and document price/cost analysis on a variety of proposals for development, production and sustainment of major systems.

- Analyze suppliers projected estimates costs for reasonableness, reviewing in detail the significant direct cost elements of labor, material and special tooling.

- Evaluations of supplier proposals are provided to the government customer and used in prime proposal pricing.

- Develop negotiation strategies and resolve both supplier and prime negotiations to achieve company profit goals and customer affordability goals.

The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of supply chain management, pricing, costing, accounting, procurement, finance, cost analysis and/or contracts or related discipline. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

- Must have some professional or classroom experience in supply chain management, pricing, costing, accounting, procurement, finance, cost analysis and/or contracts or related discipline.

Desired Skills:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a Business, Finance, or related discipline, highly preferred.

- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.

- Ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions.

- Ability to perform and apply cost accounting, pricing, and estimating concepts and principles.

- Ability to support fact-finding exercises as needed to review the basis of price/cost trends and development of key cost indicators.

- Ability to review supplier proposals for compliance.

- Ability to successfully interact with various functional organizations (Program Office, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) in obtaining and providing information.

- Willingness to work additional hours as required in support of proposal bold schedules.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Prior experience with data analysis.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $50,300 - $96,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
