The Korte Company (TKC) is seeking an experienced Business Development Coordinator to join our Business Development Operations team in Highland, Illinois. The ideal candidate will support our executive and pillar leaders, contribute to the operational needs of the office and collaborate with colleagues in The Korte Companys Administrative Team to help our entire enterprise thrive.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Organize and distribute incoming solicitations

{=html} <!-- --> - Develop and manage proposal schedules to ensure timely delivery - Create proposal outlines based on RFP requirements and coordinate proposal strategy - Coordinate with internal teams and external partners

{=html} <!-- --> - Manage amendments and addendums and distribute as needed

{=html} <!-- --> - Edit, proofread, and format proposal content, ensuring that brand standards and a consistent tone are maintained - Coordinate incoming documents - Assemble final documents for submission - Oversee production and delivery of proposals to clients - Ensure proposal data is current and accurately reflects RFP requirements

{=html} <!-- --> - Maintain accurate marketing files and internal proposal databases

{=html} <!-- --> - Provide support to BD team as needed - Develop and sustain a level of professionalism with clients and colleagues

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be organized and detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving
  • Ability to multi-task (work on multiple proposals with multiple teams at same time)
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  • Facility with managing multiple tasks and Operations team members independently
  • Works well under pressure / flexible
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat, and Indesign is a plus
  • Strong work ethic and outgoing personality with an interest in relationship building
  • Ability to promote teamwork and cooperation through effective interpersonal skills
  • High levels of integrity, initiative, confidentiality and diplomacy

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE

Qualified applicants will have:

  • 5-7 years of administrative experience (required)
  • 2-3 years supporting senior executives (preferred), ideally in architecture, construction and engineering fields
