What we are expecting from you
Design and prepare concept drawings of new equipment or modifications to existing equipment
Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering and manufacturing production problems through identification and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes
Prepare documentation for new manufacturing processes and engineering procedures
Responsible for maximising cost effectiveness and reliability towards manufacturing flow, processes and equipment.
Refine and enhance processes by applying continuous improvement and key lean manufacturing production principles and techniques; recommend product changes/improvements to Product Engineers
Who we are looking for
An individual with strong practical experience in process engineering and manufacturing engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Someone with strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to utilise automated measuring tools, and strong understanding of automated manufacturing equipment control plans
Bacherlor's Degree in related engineering field, with relevant experience
Capability and willingness to work "hands-on" on projects without supervision
Ideally, you will also have
Experience with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, project management, FMEAs and quality systems
Working knowledge of APAQP control plans and PPAP validation plans
