Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory Technician
Job Description
We are currently looking to hire a temporary Quality Control Technician for our team. This is a challenging chemistry-based position in a large chemical processing facility. The role requires demonstrable proficiency with standard chemical lab equipment and instrumentation, including specialized laboratory instrumentation platforms such as Thermogravimetric Analysis (Differential Scanning Calorimetry), Capillary Indexers, Assay, HPLC, GC, and pH measurement.
Responsibilities
Conduct chemical analysis and quality control tests.
Perform wet chemistry procedures.
Operate Gas Chromatography (GC) and High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) equipment.
Maintain GMP/GLP documentation.
Perform various routine tests and report results on batch sheets and in the LIMS System.
Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and testing issues.
Essential Skills
BS degree in Chemistry or a related science degree with prior chemical manufacturing experience.
1-3 years' experience in a laboratory setting.
1-3 years of experience with Gas Chromatography (GC) and High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
Experience with LIMS Systems (preferred).
Knowledge of GMP/GLP documentation and SOPs.
Experience in ISO certified facilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Industry lab experience is preferred over candidates without lab experience.
Troubleshooting experience.
