As a CDL apprentice, you will shadow CDL Drivers in our Grain, Energy, and Agronomy departments. This gives apprentices a full-glimpse into career opportunities as a CDL Driver and gives YOU the option of choosing your next career path.
Day-To-Day Activities:
- Operating trucks on the road and unload products safely into the delivery area.
- Delivering liquids and dry mixes, propane and fuel delivery, and grain.
- Maintaining customer records, sales tickets, and truck log per DOT regulations.
- Promptly addressing customer and supplier needs.
- Performing preventable and required maintenance on equipment and facilities.
The CDL Driver is responsible for delivery and pick-up, reporting, operations, service, safety and maintenance.
