Job Location: Hershey, PA * Position Description:* The Marketing Operations DME Finance Specialist plays a key role in providing top tier DME budget management support. This position works in multiple systems SAP-based systems, (Ariba Guided Buying, DME Tool and Analysis for Excel reporting) and partners with internal commercial teams and cross-functional partners to execute DME budget management. This position oversees all DME spending activity for assigned teams, and works directly with Budget Owners, Finance, and the Controller's team to correctly plan, spend, and accrue money according to company policy. This will require an analytical, financial-minded professional that is comfortable and effective in collaborating with both finance and non-finance business partners to ensure that budgets are correctly planned and spent. * Key Activities / Responsibilities:* • Vendor / Agency Engagement • Budget Entry and Financial Tracking/Reporting • PR/PO Management • SOW Management • Financial Analysis * Skills / Competencies* • Strong financial acumen to manage budgets, represent financial liabilities, and track expenses • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and ability to learn new systems • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business units, seek common ground and establish alignment on common goals • Experience working with external vendors / agencies • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/areas of responsibilities simultaneously • Overall business knowledge and holistic general management approach • Strong knowledge of procurement policies and procedures • Bonus if you have prior experience or knowledge of SAP financial systems • Strong attention to detail and deadlines • Process oriented • Problem solver * Key Interactions:* • Report to: Associate Manager of Marketing Operations • Internal: Marketing Finance, Controllers Team, Sourcing/Procurement, Budget Owners • External: Vendors, agencies * Qualifications* • Education: BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or Business • 2-3+ years of related work experience, preferably in finance, accounting, economics, or in a Commercial Support function #LI-AM1 The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
