Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Merchandise Team Lead in Hershey, Pennsylvania

The Merch Seller will be assigned to and responsible for a point of sale in the GIANT Center where artist merchandise is sold. Prior to the event the Merch Seller will be responsible for assisting with inventory and preparing the stand display. After the event, the seller is responsible for closing out, which includes a final count on the remaining merchandise that is returned.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Inventory all items by physically counting prior to the start of the event and again at the end of the show*
Prepare the stand display before the event begins so that fans can view what is for sale*
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stand throughout the duration of the event*
Ensure an excellent experience for each fan by providing prompt and thorough customer service*
Handle guest credit/debit cards and other applicable transactions properly*
Assist fans with their purchases by sharing merchandise information such as pricing and sizing*
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
Completion of High School or GED
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to work in a fast-paced, often loud, but exciting environment
Must have attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
Strong organizational skills for maintaining merchandise displays
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Job Demands:
Ability to work up to 12 hours per shift
Must be able to stand for extended periods
Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs using safe lifting practices
