Eagle Village Court Day Treatment Family Therapist in Hersey, Michigan
Responsible for evidence based therapeutic treatment through the principles of Family Systems Theory and case management for 12 active day treatment youth and their families. Coordinates with Case Service Specialist to provide aftercare services. The Family Therapist may be assigned clients outside of the day treatment program. Serves as the child and family's advocate to provide and facilitate the best possible care and treatment available. The Family Therapist collaborates closely with the Experiential Therapist and the Program Manager to promote the social, emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual wellbeing of youth.

Brief Description of Any Preferences
Licensed Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Counseling from an accredited college or university is required. Have knowledge, experience, and skills in working with children and families who have experienced trauma. One year related experience preferred. Minimum of a Limited License (must work on and demonstrate progress in obtaining full license, if not already obtained) as a Social Worker, Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Counselor. Be of Good moral character. Must be able to type fluently with knowledge of general Microsoft programs.
