Payrate: $28-$32

Are you ready to play a key role in the aviation industry? PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a Tooling and Services Specialist to join our dynamic team! As a part of our team, you will be integral in ensuring smooth operations by responding to customer inquiries, managing tool leases, and supporting a wide range of customer-facing services. Your expertise will directly impact the delivery of Company proprietary tools, vendor tools, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE).

Your Mission:

As a Tooling Services Specialist, you will be responsible for managing customer tool orders, ensuring timely delivery, and facilitating the lease and return process. You will interact with multiple teams, coordinate tooling and services, and deliver exceptional customer support across a variety of scenarios, including routine requests, AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations, and initial provisioning. From maintaining order records to providing quotes, your work will support our customer’s success, and in turn, the growth of our company.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Interface with the Hamburg Inflight Desk to address backlogs and resolve quality discrepancies.

• Manage tooling purchase orders, including routine, AOG, and provisioning requests.

• Organize and host customer tooling conference calls, provide price quotes, and respond to order inquiries.

• Support the tool lease team with quoting, order entry, follow-up on deliveries, SAP updates, and invoicing.

• Follow-up with customers for tooling returns and warranty claims, accepting and documenting feedback about any damages.

• Coordinate with tool services management in Hamburg to ensure efficient processing of orders.

Required Qualifications:

• Education : Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Procurement, or equivalent experience.

• Experience : 3-5 years in a customer service role, ideally within aviation or a related industry.

• Skills :

• Strong analytical abilities and reporting skills.

• Proficient in using G Suite (Google Sheets, GDocs, etc.).

• High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets is a must.

• Physical Requirements :

• Ability to perform daily tasks such as lifting up to 30lbs, operating office equipment, and working in office or production environments.

• Willingness to travel independently at short notice.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the aviation industry or with Ground Support Equipment (GSE).

• Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
