Position Description:

CGI Federal is searching for Software Developers to join one of our foundation business solutions teams supporting a classified customer. On this program, we are undertaking an aggressive DevOps transformation which builds on the success of our IP based services where you can work with our other Senior Developers and learn as you make an immediate impact on our application systems.

We look for developers who are excited to design, develop, code, test, and debug new software or provide complex enhancements to existing software. Roll up your sleeves and dig into DevOps, Lean Agile, Security, Cloud Optimization, GUI, middle tier & large complex databases. The work we do makes a difference in our client’s mission and National Security.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and update custom software code for financial systems

• Analyze problem reports and prepare accurate schedule estimates to develop solutions

• Document software code sufficiently and accurately

• Provide support to business analysts and testers in identifying anomalies

• Reliably and accurately report progress within the software development support tools

• Provide program documentation input for design and solution elements.

• Assist junior developers and manage development tasks as needed

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Minimum of 5 years of C++ development experience

• Minimum of 2 years of webMethods development experience

• Minimum of 4 years experience in Java programming

• Minimum of 3 years of experience writing complex SQL queries

• Experience supporting Momentum Financial Management software

• Experience working in an Oracle RDBMS environment

• Exposure to large scale ERP development solutions

• 4 year college degree or equivalent

• Candidates must have a current U.S. Secret clearance and a Special Background Investigation no more than 6 years old. Clearances must be transferrable, and applicants must pass government approval to work on the project

Desired:

• Experience working with Momentum 8.x architecture (OpenShift Container Platform, JBoss, ActiveMQ)

• 2 or more years of experience working with Javascript

• 1 year of experience working in a Linux development environment

• Familiar with BIRT Report Designer

• Fundamental understanding of federal financials

• Knowledge of the SAP Business Objects tool suite

• Experience with JIRA

• Must communicate well with other team members and balance shifting priorities to meet deadlines

• Self-sufficient/self-starter

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $152,400 - $193,920
